“Join FIAF for our annual three-block fête on 60th Street from Fifth to Lexington Avenues that the entire family will enjoy. Bastille Day brims with the sights, sounds and flavors of French culture. Sample the cuisine of France and French-speaking countries and share this wonderful food with the French-American community at our picnic tables en plein air. Artisans will sell merchandise inspired by France’s diverse regions, while you listen to live music and revel with fellow francophiles.”

On Sunday, July 15, 2007 from noon to 6pm everyone is invited to be French for a day.

Join the Street Fair with French Flair! Experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of French culture.

Sample the cuisine of France, and French-speaking countries, purchase merchandise, hear live music, dance in the street and much more at the annual street fair.

Live performers and French Can Can will be presented on a stage (set up between Madison and Park Avenue) throughout the afternoon.

We invite you to come share the wonderful food with the French American community at an
open air picnic‘ with tables set up along the three blocks with checkered table cloths—the Bastille Day street fair is renowned for its wonderful fare.

Family-friendly fun abounds! French-themed sports activities including a stationary Tour de France Bike Race provided by New York Health and Racquet Club, soccer work-outs with New York Red Bulls and pétanque provided by Petanque America.

Bonne chance! A raffle, with drawings throughout the day, offers the chance to win the Grand Prize of a pair of round-trip tickets to Paris courtesy of American Airlines and a grand prize.
